The boiler includes a heating part and a sanitary part.
The heating part consists of the heat exchanger, the ignition electrode, and many other boiler spare parts. When you have a hot water breakdown, it is likely that the boiler shuts off due to a problem detected by a safety klixon. That is a heating sensor or a thermistor.
For the sanitary part, we refer to the sanitary NTC when there is no hot water. This part includes a sanitary exchanger, also known as a plate exchanger, transferring calories from the heating part to the sanitary part that supplies your mixing faucet with hot water, just like every mixer faucet in your house.
Directing the water from the boiler is done through a 3-way valve or a 4-way valve, that is, a directing water valve. This hydraulic valve is generally found on a hydraulic block. There are two: the right hydraulic block and the left hydraulic block.
A 3-way valve includes a system, for example, a ball valve, directing water one way or the other. It is controlled by a 3-way or 4-way valve actuator, acting on the hydraulic valve at the request of the boiler printed circuit.
