Aquastat knob

The regulation aquastat for water heater is an essential spare part for operating the electric water tank. It allows the steatite resistance or armored resistance to heat the water of the water heater to the appropriate temperature, according to your hot water needs.
The aquastat button indicates the temperature thanks to its scale usually between 0 and 90 degrees.
While it is possible to choose between these different temperature ranges, it is strongly recommended to avoid setting the safety aquastat for water heater below 50 degrees due to the risk of developing Legionella in the water tank. Water that is too hot poses another risk of scalding while showering or at the kitchen faucet, for example.
