Dudgeon or crimped refrigeration fittings are installed on the refrigeration lines of split air conditioners (monosplit or multisplit) to connect each unit (indoor and outdoor units). It is possible to make dudgeons or fittings yourself with a specific device called a dudgeoning machine.
However, be careful not to reuse the air conditioning or heat pump (PAC) too quickly, because after soldering fittings, the refrigerant fluid in the refrigeration line may react with the heated and soldered part at the refrigeration fitting.
