How to replace your towel dryer’s resistance?

To replace it, you need:

• A TORX key
• A hexagon key
• A cup
• A basin
• A wipe
• A flat screwdriver
• A pliers crescent wrench

Steps to be followed :

• Cut off power heater supply before your intervention
• Unscrew the plate under your TIMERPROG
• Remove the TIMEPROG by unscrewing the nut
• Identify the resistance wires then, disconnect them
• Remove the old TIMERPROG
• Isolate the radiator by closing the radiator’s flows, then drain it with the cup
• Once the radiator’s pressure is broken inside, put the basin above the resistance and drain the radiator by unscrewing it slowly. Put the wipe around to avoid the projections
• When the radiator is empty, unscrew completely the resistance then remove it.
• Raise the new resistance with the paste given then tighten it
• Wipe your radiator
• Close the purge valve then open the radiator flow
• Check if the resistance is waterproof
• If everything’s OK, check the boiler pressure. It should be between 1 and 1,5 bar.
• Drain the radiator then, the radiator flow
• Screw the resistance’s electric wires through the box. Don’t forget the nut. Raise the box and block it
• Close the plate above the TIMERPROG
• Then, turn the power supply on
