What energy sources are available for heating?

39% of French households use gas as their heating source. It is a less expensive energy than electricity, which is the second most used energy for heating in France.
Nowadays, the focus is on the condensing boiler because it helps to avoid energy waste while saving money for the owner. Additionally, gas is frequently used in a building's boiler room.
Electricity is mainly used in rental homes with water heaters. It is also growing in use through reversible air conditioning and heat pumps.
As for oil, this energy is declining and is set to disappear. Europe aims to eliminate it to reduce the resulting pollution. Regarding wood, this energy source is making a comeback in many households.

Energy Responsibility for a Better Quality of Life

We often hear about climate change, pollution, and the need to be responsible in light of the current situation. In 1952, the Great Smog settled over London, killing between 4,000 and 12,000 people while making more than 100,000 ill, choking the population with emissions from chimneys and exhausts primarily.
Today, every government is taking responsibility to prevent another disaster by reducing air pollution. Although pollution peaks remain a significant issue.
